The 2010 Grammy's had a show stopping performance, in my opinion, by the artist known as P!nk.
While singing the song
glitter in the air
off her album Funhouse, she wore a body tight outfit while doing a cirque de soleil type spin in the air. It
was a beautiful song to hear, and a stunning visual presentation to boot.
It was easily the most talked about performance at the
coffee maker at work the next day, but the same
subject came up over and over from multiple people. "Did she lip sync?".
While driving into work that very morning, I even heard the accusation by a local talk show host who
also loved the performance.
Today, Tuesday February 02, P!nk took to Twitter to reply to her critiques.
I've posted a screen shot of the reply below, but the text of the comment was thus:
"I hear there's a debate over whether or not I sang live on grammies. I have never
lip synched in my entire life. I'm 100% against it."
I was blown away by the performance and I agree with those that say she sang live, unlike "other" people
who "sang" at the Grammys.
