One of the accounts I follow on
twitter is
an account called
@omgfacts. On Saturday
January 16th in the evening they posted a omgfact that said if you put a raisin on a fresh glass
of champagne it would rise up and down.
Along with many people I felt a desire to actually try this experiment so, below is the picture process
of this experiment. You just need the following.
- fresh bottle of champagne
- box of raisins
- a desire to live large and on the edge!!
A long story short, after opening the bottle of champagne which caused me to believe I have put a hole
in my ceiling, I proceeded to put a raisin in a fresh glass of champagne and after watching the raisin
sink to the bottle was suprised to start to see it float up and down. We can file this @omgfact
under the TRUE column!
This is definately one of those bar bets you can do against someone and win!
One other facts. Champagne can only be called champagne if it comes from the champagne region
of France, otherwise it has to be called "sparkling wine".
Just say'n...
