This may get me in trouble with Google and my page rank and site demolished but I think it
deserves saying; Is Google pushing G1 ads in non-relevant inventory?
My iPhlogger.com site obviously uses their ads, and so do a majority of the sites that I visit online
and I'm seeing their G1 ads show up within the block of ads that are suppose to be relevant to
the page, site, content in question. What I'm seeing, however, is a case of Google just inserting their
G1 ads at will, often into non-relevant pages...more "run of network" type behavior.
And the beauty is they dont have to PAY for it, they just use inventory that they control.
For example, this was on the homepage of
BBC News and the
page had no mention or talk of cellphones. They are sticking G1 tower ads onto my site onto pages that have
nothing to do with cellphones as well, where as I was getting back content relevant ads if I hit refresh.
Just seems a little, under handed to me. Sorry Google.
JUST my opinion of course.
