I have heard of alarm systems, guard dogs, even laser fences...but bears?
Just read a odd story up on
komonews.com about
how Canadian police discovered two marijuana fields with roughly 2300 plants. Not unusual for BC, what with the
well known
BC Bud that flows out of the area. What WAS odd, was the odd mechanism being used to guard
the area; 13 bears.
According to the story,
"...the bears were docile...". Um, yeah, ya think? And probably had a constant case
of the munchies too!
All I can say is this will REALLY make it hard for me not to laugh when I hear about
Smokey the Bear from this point
forward.
