The Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger decides to try a new tactic:
Minimum wage for 200,000 state workers in
California!
Oh dont worry state workers. The states Controller is refusing to play along with this stunt by the terminator. Apparently
it was tried before, two years ago, and refused the
order then as well.
What I find funny about this was back in
2006, Arnold was professing his love for wanting to get the minimum wage
raised to $8, hire them most states. Quoting the California government link above,
“Raising the minimum wage is something I have wanted to do for a long time and I am happy that this year, we have the
right bill and the powerhouse economy we need to get this done.”
My my my how a few years and a economic sink hole change the whole picture, dont you think?
