Twittering With The Stars

So I've been doing this whole Twitter thing for a couple of months now. Basically it just seems to be an updated version of the old "you've got mail" chat room days on AOL. It's just a bunch of people sending out complete random crap and people can elect to flag (follow) people who's posts they seem to enjoy. Or as the case might be ghost-follow via automation.

What I have started doing is following people who are in my nearby geo location and what I've discovered is an odd connection to my community which I did not have before. People tweet about local restaurants, etc so it's almost a soap box for things you like and do not like.

Another fun aspect is the fact that a lot of music and movie stars on on Twitter.

I have had the fun pleasure of tweeting two stars, and actually having them tweet back!

I got to tweet with Demi Moore and Alyssa Milano.

Demi did a RT or Retweet and Alyssa actually answered a random question I shot off to her.

Update: In December of 09 Alyssa sent me a DM (direct message) answering a question I tweeted out. I think I TOTALLY offended her! Oops!
