It appears that Starbucks is hoping for instant success. News outlets are reporting that next week they are going to
introduce a line of instant coffee products.
According to a internal starbucks memo that the
Seattle Times printed in an
article, it has been a product they have been working on for 20 years. Wow. 20 years. Did it really take them 20 years to
perfect the taste of BURNED COFFEE in an instant form? You have GOT to be kidding me.
If the administration at Starbucks had half a clue, they would simply offer
free wifi at every location they have. Why? It might bring
people back into the locations to sit in their fire side chairs to do some homework. Hell, while they are there they might actually
buy a cup of coffee. This would be such a cheap investment. They would probably only have to sell 10 $4 coffee's to cover the monthly cost
of having DSL connection at each location which they could spill out into the store for free with a wireless router.
Just saying...
