Recover Deleted iPod Music Icon

Want to learn how to recover accidently deleted icons on your iPod Touch music player? Then you've come to the right place.

If your like me, you have small kids in the house and as I've learned they LOVE electronic devices. The downside of that is they seem to managed to "do" things to those electronic devices that you have NO idea how they did it. Take this past weekend when I discovered my small son somehow managed to delete the "music" icon from my iPod Touch. A rather important icon given the fact the iPod touch is a MUSIC player.

So you dont have to experience the pain I did, I have listed the steps on how to recover this default icons. These steps can actually help you recover any of the default icons that come with the device.

Screen 1: My personalized home screen

Screen 2: Home screen with suddenly missing "music" icon

Screen 3: Find and touch your "settings" icon. Click on the "general" option

Screen 4: Hit the "reset" option

Screen 5: Reset. In my case all I needed was to hit the "reset home screen layout" to recover my missing music icon
