Why do some companies feel the need to confirm the fact you just opted out of their spam?
I mean this in the most loving way possible, but if I elect to opt out of your spam or junk email, do you REALLY
think I want to receive a confirmation email telling me I just opted out?
I'm sure some think it is the
customer service thing to do, to confirm "yes, we received your request and we have
taken care of it" but from MY perspective it comes off as rubbing salt in an open wound.
I do NOT want to hear from you, I do NOT want your emails.
Personally I think they should just take care of it and let the fact their emails dont flood my inbox anymore do
the talking.
