According to
reports, Vibe Magazine which was founded by
Quincy Jones, is shutting down the presses.
Apparently hip hop and urban culture fans are not all that big into reading.
Actually, the reason given is the advertising market place. Apparently magazines are having the same issues most major newspapers are now facing, and
that is the loss of advertiser revenue. Lets face it, Craigslist is single handedly putting a good number of newspaper makers out of
business due to the fact they took away all of the classifieds ads revenue, which was where newspapers used to make their money.
