On the February 18 2009 showing of the
David Letterman show, there was a skit that had a young joke writer looking for new ideas for
obama jokes so he is seen wandering around New York city trying to get inspiration. There was a song playing in the background that
I'd never heard before but was determined to track down as I wanted to have it.
The name of the song used was
Show Me What I'm Looking For by the group
Carolina Liar from their album
Coming To Terms.
I swear, if I was a music artist I'd give my music away for FREE to tv shows and such. I'd be willing to bet they make
more on the iTunes purchases after their music is heard. My gut says that by mixing the music with images (tv) there is
an even strong emotional trigger that goes off vs. just hearing it on the radio.
