So for whatever reason even though I own most of these movies on DVD, I just have to watch them when
they show up on free tv.
I really dont understand the draw. The list is not even a list of academy award winning material. Is it the sense of community by watching it with the likely 10's of thousands of people
that are also watching it? Not likely. It can't be for the full movie experience itself either because for obvious
starters the movie has been edited down to fit in the time slot plus the majority of the swearing, sex and violence
has more then likely been cut out by the sensor nazi's...and honestly, who the hell wants to watch a movie with all of THAT
cut out!
So without further filabustering by me, here is the list of movies that I just seem compelled to stop everything I was
doing and sit down and watch if I stumble onto them on normal TV, in no particular order.
Ill continue to add to the list as I stumble onto other entries.
- any james bond movie
- big trouble in little china
- planet of the apes
- the transporter
- a christmas story
- mission impossible
- any jason bourne movie
- the man with one red shoe
- jurassic park
- the incredibles
- witness
In the complete opposite direction, while I LOVE the movie and OWN the movie, I've found that I just cannot sit down and
watch Saving Private Ryan anymore. The opening sequence just chocks me up too much.
