In the truth CAN be stranger then fiction relm Michael Jackson finds himself in a new legal "thriller". This time he's
being sued by the director of his
thriller video, John Landis, for what he says was his contractual obligation
to receive 50% of the profits from the video.
First, can I just point out the video is now 25 years old? If the dude really thought he was being wronged you would think he would have
spoken up by now. My guess is times are simply tough for Mr. Landis so he's throwing darts at a board to see what sticks.
Lastly, I think we can file this under “trying to get blood from a stone” with a cross-reference to “kick a guy while he’s down”.
While I agree Mr. Jackson has done some really odd things over the years, I think it would be pretty cool if he did a comeback. The man MUST still have some
amazing music in him still.
