Is Sarah Palin Alaska's Greatest Gift

I woke up this morning to read on cnn that Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska is resigning her post later this month. Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will take over the position.

Parnell made a statement after the fact that she, Sarah Palin, "is Alaska's greatest gift to our country..."

Wow, really?

If Sarah Palin is Alaska's great gift, does that make the geoduck Washington States greatest gift?

Dont natural beauty, oil, fishing industry to name a few do more for the nation the Mrs. Palin?

She was a part of the fracturing of the Republican party during this last election. Yes, granted, she was the "fall guy" for the failed campaign but non the less she was a part of the whole mess that was and is the Republican party at that time.

Just my opinion, of course.
