According to a
Seattle Times article, five former executives
of WaMu are raising cash for all of those Washington Mutual employees who just lost, well, everything.
Very noble.
So far between the five of them, they have raise $50,000. Lets see here. Math was never one of my strong points
but $50,000 / 5 would be...oh look, $10,000 each.
Very Very noble.
Lets dig a little deeper. According to various business websites there was at one point 49,000 full time
employees at
WaMu. Lets assume that's current and accurate. That would mean each of them would receive a
nice good "make good" check of $1.02. That should go a long ways to make up for all of that lost stock value and retirement
dreams all those folks had.
Hey, whatever makes you sleep better in those multi-million dollars homes you 5 are living in...
