If your looking for further proof that our government is running full speed ahead on the stupid setting I think
I have something for you.
The infamous
bridge to nowhere in Alaska which apparently was halted by Gov. Palin back in 2007 now has a friend; The
Road To Nowhere.
According to a
CNN Article this week saw
the completion of a $25 million dollar gravel road that goes to, well...nowhere. Mayor Bob Weinstein of Ketchikan apparently thinks
the road is ideal for road races, hunting, and some possible commercial development...even though nobody has any reason to actually go
DOWN the road.
Perhaps it is time we all stood up and said enough and put an end to this whole
earmarks
thing.
