The weather is rock'n here in Washington state this evening. We are living up to our "it rans 365 days a year" movie persona
tonight with some serious down pours. (Good thing we just put a new roof on the ol' house!!)
To top things off...thunder boomers are echoing and scaring the crap outa my kids and knocking out power off and on.
While it pains me to see my kids scared I have to admit...I LOVE this kind of weather. When I lived up in Granite Falls for a
few years, on the edge of the
Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, I used
to just lay on the floor and look out towards the forest and watch some pretty massive lighting storms. I had some
nice pictures. (Too bad I was so pissed at my ex that I tossed ALL my fricken pictures...argh!) Oh well, live and learn.
I'm just going to sit here and enjoy the storm.
