Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, today spoke at Columbia
University in New York. During his talk he said "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like
in your country."
Riiiiight...
I'm sorry Mr. Ahmadinejad, just because you don't SEE it does not mean it is not happening. You have
driving it so far underground, and made it "illegal", no one in their right mind would
"out" themselves.
Apparently this got boos and laughter when he said it which sort of made me think. Lets face it, how
much more "accepting" are people in the United States? It seems nobody wants to give people who are
gay the right to marry. Isn't that sort of the same thing? It's a way of keeping them "out" of society in
some strange way? I don't know. We say we are better but at times we sure don't really act like it I suppose.
But back to Ahmadinejad. What a loon. But then, anybody who thinks the holocaust did not happen
clearly has no understanding of reality. This dumbass better watch his step or he'll be the next person George
Bush and his war buddies are pulling out of a spider hole...
